I have two NanaVNAs, the usual small one and the one with the big screen.
Just built a filter kit, and I was not confident of the build instructions, so wanted to check it.
The SA gives a very good picture, but to get all the parameters, quite a bit of setting up to do with the VNA adapter.
Connected up the NanoVNA to the filter, and the results were the same as the SA for all practical purposes, but it looked interesting so I downloaded the PC software for it again, and really, it is ideal for filter testing, as well as antennas of course.
This is a display showing the 17/15m filter
Not bad for a £50 (or less) device!
Tried it on the MiniVNA Tiny, it of course works well, but far more expensive. (the MiniVNA Tiny is much better at UHF, and covers higher frequencies)
Better than a spectrum analyser?
