Never ceases to amaze me UK license structure.

Unread post by M0VMT »

On another board we had a discussion about the license structure in the UK, here in the UK they give just about all bands away at the first hurdle and basically that's why we have a element of unwillingness to progress.
Now this isn't hate thread but why do these people take time to either build a shack with thousand of pounds worth of equipment take time to make a YouTube channel and constantly post vids up, yet when they are asked as to why they have held a entry license 15 years they say they just don't have the time.
Discuss.......

The answer in the question, everything has already been given in the introduction licence, why would you bother to progress??

RSGB and Ofcom need to sort it out with band and power restrictions, progress, get more, stay where you are, get less.

How it was cocked up by people who were supposed to be switched on, god only knows.

Problem is, RSGB ask us what we want changed by a "Litmus Test", then they do nothing, shameful.
Glad to be Here.
