UK Intermediate Licence Course has taken off very well with now 629 students at time of writing.

This course is designed to be used with your own studies such as the intermediate licence manual and all material can be accessed 24 hours a day 7 days a week.This course is also free, as is my foundation and both are available at

As well as the course students can join the facebook UK Intermediate Amateur Radio Licence group where people share study material and ask questions from various sources.

Since bookings opened on 13 July 2020, the RSGB is delighted that over 400 people have booked a remote invigilation Intermediate exam, with over 250 registering on the first day!

These exams take place from 12 August 2020, and we wish the candidates well with their studying and the exam.

The Examination Standards Committee is pleased to announce the latest syllabus revision for the amateur radio licence examinations. Following the valuable feedback from the tutor community, certain points have been clarified. With 775 students at time of writing, my online Intermediate course has taken off and gaining interest.

One surprising fact is the amount of YL's signed up to the courses making up about 66% of the students.

I welcome the news of the removal of practicals from the syllabus and wish folk well with their online studies.
