Lead Acid Battery Chargers

Unread post by M0XXQ »

Mark, as promised here a couple of links to what I think will do the job to charge up your FT-818 battery pack mate.
WallWart Lead Acid Battery Charger
Another WallWart Lead Acid Battery Charger

I have the one in the first link, can't vouch for the second one.

Cheers

Rob.

Thanks Rob that'll do the trick now for a battery and I'm good to go....
If you use the internal you get less out and it will last 2-3 hrs so for portable I may as well hump a small alarm battery or bike battery around and get full 5/6 watts wow pile up buster  but that's all I want 5watts QRP portable.

Yea well worth it mate, if you wanted you could put the battery in a plastic box and mount a connector on it so you can simply plug in the radio and charger when needed.
What about one of those emergency jump start battery packs with the handle on, they don't look too heavy?
