Good stuff John, I've been looking at the 2ele Zx design at wimo as I could squeeze that in here hmmmm.
Yeah beams can make life a lot easier and I miss having the minis even though they are lossy.
The hex was the best I had here but you can't beat mono banders you should treat yourself for Christmas.

Well, the weather is pants here in Cornwall.

Wet/windy/cold.

So nothing outside, but starting squaring off the shack, bit of a clean.
Now I cant find anything lol

Did some work on the car, oil change etc.

John.

Well, its been such a nice day today, after working on the car and sorting out the shed, it was antenna time!

I took the 2M beam and 6M vertical down, both need some loving care after the winter, this will be done over the coming days.

Put a cobweb up, early days but not bad so far, more to follow.

Nothing HAM related today mate, been building my business website - getting ready to go self-employed in the next few months, didn't realise how much there was to do.
I was out on Thursday evening for the 70MHzs UKAC, 35 SSB contacts and 2 Meteor Scatter contacts, was good fun.

Best I can do is I have read my regular Ham Radio forums and packing and posting Noise Canceller kits and pcb's.

That last bit isn't leaving much time for anything else at the moment. :D

Well after having a BIG clear out in my shack, ALL my Icom gear has been sold!

Just had enough of poor service from icom UK over the last two years, terrible service.
Its the only way to make a stand! (plus ALL my gear was high end mega bucks stuff, icom UK did not give a monkeys)

So the new shack rebuild begins, in is a Expert MB-1 & TS-2000 for now/start with.

More to follow.
