Magnetic Loop for 4m band

Unread post by 2E0SOF silent key »

I thought I would try a Mag Loop for the 4m band .
I have worked out the size that would suit it and gone for 85% Eff .. with a 18pf cap with a tuning of 479KHz.
Will be trying this one out both Vert and Horz will post here on further progress .

Done more calculations and it will also be ok for the 6m band as well as 4m band .

On 4m = Ant Eff - 85%.
Band width - 479KHz.
Tuning Cap - 18pf.

On 6m = Ant Eff - 63%.
Band width - 163KHz.
Tuning Cap - 36pf.
