HF Net.

Unread post by M0HJO »

Hello All,
Lets do all things HF!
My aim is to get a weekly HF net going for member and anyone really.
Suggest 80/40M, but open to feedback and timings etc.

Also skeds, no problem, just ask.

John.

Hi John, antennas are difficult here but I will lash something up for 40M and we can try.
I should manage a full size dipole or an inverted V.

Best

I use an inverted V for 40/80M Rob, works very well into the UK.
In fact tonight, I have been listening to the USA on 40M on it, they do work.

I have a 100m roll of wire and all the parts for an ATU, I reckon with some loading coils on a dipole I could tune down to 80M - winter project watch this space.

Shame you couldn't make it today John hopefully will make Blackpool next year, Mark will see you soon.

My Ocf is loaded for 80....I made it from scrap and it's fed with home made ladder line and I have to say it's the best multiband wire I've used.
The best antennas are always the ones you've knocked up for pennies.
