Kiwi sdr

Unread post by M0VMT »

Take a look it's quite a interesting little online sdr and you can get involved by providing your own receiver to others by having it online.
Also try experimenting with the rf finding aspect via the TDOA tab and add 3-5 stations and sample to find the station.
When you get competent rf finding you'll be rather amused how good it can be within a few miles, ground wave signals are easier to determine with kiwi btw.

I have played around with the TDOA feature and it is remarkably accurate, takes some doing as the skywave can mess up the calculation.

Yes that's right Rob, best way is to know where the other station is then pick a circle of stations around him/her to kick start you into using it.
