The state of HF

I have a few hours spare today so off in the shack to spin the vfo Hmmmmmm not exactly on fire is it, 1 station on 80 ssb and 40 a little better and 20 poor.
I had more luck last week at night on 40, oh well it is what it is I guess.

Probably get my harris kicked for this :roll: but here goes, 27mhz the old MID BAND CHANNELS as was is always busy AND IT IS NOW LEGAL ON SSB :lol: give it a go in fact may i be so bold as to post a link to lots of nets that are on the old mid band channels ;) also NEVER FORGET YOUR ROOTS 8-) :lol:

Yeah post the links Frank, last year I did some mid band ssb work and really enjoyed it and had some decent distance on groundwave.
Their ain't nothing wrong with mid band it's all radio, as for cb on 27/81 it now needs nuking :D
