Don't say it affects your radio say

Unread post by Sangoma »

it affects your broadband.

Then OFCOM will investigate

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-54239180

If it took them 18 months to find that, heaven help us though.

When we have unexplained wifi problems, first thing I do is look at the band and see what else is on it, and have found the neighbours Sky wireless router is the biggest culprit, very wide signal, and doesn't seem to have any way to stop it choosing a busy channel.
(other sky devices around here also are very wide)

So an old tv knocks out the Broadband for miles around, much like the Broadband interferes with everything else, but you don't see them fixing that.

Oh, that's right, they haven't spent years trying to trace the problem yet :!:

I read the article, and being in a radio noisy neighborhood and sufferer myself, two thoughts came to mind, the first was.... "Karma"....the second was.... "Wonder if they want to flog that old telly?" :D

I think it would only work if your area was on wireless broadband.
