Re: Interference back
Well I await Ofcom again over Hf but last night I had a s9 sig on 144.500 that gradually moved to 144.300 in the space of 20mins what the hell would do that??...What was a nice area for radio has turned into a bloody nightmare within the space of 5 months

Re: Interference back
Certain "lights" have been known to generate the odd spot frequency that moves around as it warms up.
Could also be a particularly strong harmonic from something like a switchmode supply, tv set, internet box/modem or some piece of cheap Chinese electronic crap.

Re: Interference back
I had to get OFCOM out to 2 metre interference, I must say they were excellent.
A signal that went from 144.3 up to 145.3 with incredibly strong level, 60+ on radio.
It turned out to be a cheap chinese SMPS that used to feed a CCTV system, which had been turned off. The bloke forgot to hit the switch on PSU, for 3 years

Re: Interference back
Hi hi, got it right on two counts from the other side of the planet:-
switchmode supply and piece of cheap Chinese electronic crap.
Good to see that the problem has been solved.
