Had a good net going for about 40min, then because of QRM moved up to 3.664.00.
Finished around 22:10.
Sorry mate missed it, will try tomorrow or weekend.
Its okay mate, we cant be everywhere, every night.

Hope top band was good, thats my next project.
Glad to be Here.

We did a bit of mic testing and came to the conclusion the the cheap Chinese Neewer MW-5200 was far better than the Heil PR-780.

The PR-780 & now PR-781 cost £190, the NW-5200 was £48 and the NW-700 & 800 being around £12.

I had a call from a mate this afternoon because he wondered why he got a belt off his PL plug  I said short the pin bang another spark and another so yeah weird.
Static build up on a g5rv for him, it happens that's why I never attach an analyser or radio till I short a plug out.
I'm surprised his radio wasn't damaged because he said people sounded weird and he heard a crackling in his atu :o

If anyone wants a net tomorrow or Thursday, give me a shout.

I've also been noticing 40M has been opening for inter G as well as 80M, may be worth keeping an eye on.
