Hi John, it covers 23cm (1.2GHz) out of the box with full band scope and waterfall :)

Errrr, Ummmm!

I think you'll find that 1.2GHz is UHF not SHF.

UHF is from 300MHz to 3GHz, SHF from 3GHz to 30GHz.
So for Amateur bands, SHF doesn't start until the 3.4GHz (9cm) band.
