I was recently asked if i have access by a few people a lately and no I do not but I have in the past on 2 occasions and it was originally for local coms but when the band opened up I was pleasantly surprised on my icom 7100 back then working ssb into europe.
But like most ventures with local guys regards meeting up on a band they gradually drop off leaving you with metal in the sky and a redundant radio waiting for that magic opening, and i've always been on 2 and 6 and those two bands are more than enough to send you grey overnight waiting.
So I have no intention on going down that road right now, I do have listening capability and their is nothing much happening at all around here so no transceivers inbound at my OTH.
