This year I have decided to invest in a portable station due to the inability to play radio from the new QTH, I am looking forward to heading up the hill tops with my gear and participating in the VHF contests and everything in between such as Meteor Scatter and Aircraft Scatter, I will be QRV on 50MHz, 70MHz and eventually 144MHz from IO84 square up in the Northumberland hills.
The CQ World Wide VHF Contest is a overnight job kicking off on Saturday the 20th of July @ 18:00 UTC and ending on Sunday the 21st of July at 21:00 - camping gear at the ready!
